Creative Discovery in PaintShop Pro
Lesson 13
There are no supplies for this lesson.
First - Wait for the Video player to load
Then - You need to watch the video before doing lesson below - it has a lot more important information and explanations for you
You may do the lesson as you watch the video though
Also - Click the full screen button on the player to watch it full screen or you may not see all of the settings properly
View > Customize
Click on Commands Tab and you will see the different Categories
Click on the Toolbars Tab, which brings up the toolbars that are selected by default with PaintShop Pro.
Click on New and type in a name for your Toolbar into the box that pops up.
Click OK
Now you may need to look for you toolbar - it is very tiny - the same colour as your workspace with a tiny white X in the corner
Go back to Commands Tab and Start with the File category - Go through these and add what you wish, but don't add ones that are already on another toolbar.
I have only added "Save Copy As" and I didn't place it on my custom toolbar, but rather the one already had up top - I placed it next to Save As icon.
Next Category is Edit - A lot of these have shortcuts that are easier to use than clicking on an icon
To save one on your custom toolbar, just click it and drag it onto your toolbar
Have a look through the rest of the sections, but I don't add anything from them at the moment
You can drag it to where you want it - top or sides and it will attach itself.
You can also double click.
Just hit the Print Screen on your keyboard to copy your screen to your clipboard
Right click on your workspace in PaintShop Pro and Paste as New Image (Or use your new icon)
Then use your crop tool to cut it down to size.
